HUGHES & HUGHES BOOKSTORE Bank Place, Ennis, Co. Clare

The construction of a 3 storey retail and residential building in the busy financial centre of Ennis was one of the most complex building projects we have undertaken. Built on the site of a former three-bay single-storey overbasement late19th century house beside a single span concrete bridge, the construction involved the use of a cantilever and towercrane in a very confined site. With its brick and limestone façade, It now stands as one of the most distinctive buildings on the street.
